Bert is a poignant journey to find the protagonist's family that he could be accepted and loved. Bert is my first animated short as a senior project at academy of art college, san francisco. (Music from : Trio Voronezh)

You can watch the movie at www.moonsunglee.com I just saw it at the Student Animation Festival in Ottawa. I think it was the best film I saw over the last 4 days, and it was really inspiring for my own film which I'll be starting in January!

One of the best short films I have seen. The creativity displays an art form rarely used today, simple and being able to connect to many people. This simply proves that you don't have to be a rocket scientest to create a masterpiece.

I Loved it, the simple shapes pulled me in and the story grabed my heart...I'm enrolled at the Art Institute of Atlanta for their Media Arts and Animation program and I hope that by the time I graduate I can produce something as good as this in my senior year.

Hi, My name is Jonathan and I live in Ireland .I am very interested in computers and anything technical. I have all always loved computer animation. But watching this film has really inspired me to get started . So I was wondering if you might give me some advice on where to start. Thanks, Jonathan E-mail blackmorejb@eircom.net

I downloaded Bert and I simply have to write to thank you for what a wonderful wonderful film. To me, it beats Disney hands down and all the other big production houses out there. In my opinion, they have all the budget and all the time and all the equipment to produce a film, but for you to get the message across in such a short span of time, so effectively and beautifully, is well beyond comprehension. We were born around the same era, back then I remember, during Christmas, there was simple cartoons and stop motion animation like Rudolph the red-nose reindeer and Frosty the snowman. Cartoons these days have become too high-tech, robotic and unbelievable (full of magic, does tricks, transformers etc etc), it lacks the authencity and realness. I for one love your film, because it was simple in its theme, no doubt, tedious and masterfully crafted in the making. It was beautiful, It made me smile, It make me sad. I felt for that little carrot. YOu have such talent. I only wished you had more short films. What did you use to make that film?Would you mind sharing with me?

Very sweet. Perfect on the palmtop and great for kids. A simple story nicely told. And a good length!

Oh my goodness! Very nice detail on the animations facial expressions. You have the one understanding that normal viewers don't see, but just feel. I love this animation..
